오늘도 일을 마치고 You tube 세상을 산책 하던 중 어떤 언어학 박사님이 올려 놓으신 영상을 보게 되었습니다.
너무 욕심을 내서 영어를 잘하려고 하면 쉽게 지칠수밖에 없으니 본인이 현재 영어를 하는 목적과 분야에 맞는 영어를 찾아서 공부를 하고 어느정도 만족 할 만큼의 수준에 오른 뒤에 점점 다른분야로 넓혀 가는 방법에 대해 소개 해 놓으신 영상을 보면서 내가 지금 왜 영어를 공부 하고 있는지에 대해 다시 생각 해 보게 되었습니다. (동기 부여!!)
공부 해야 될 부분은 많지만 일단 어느 정도는 내가 이야기 하고 싶은 내용을 말 할 수 있어야 되기 때문에 오늘은 interview 영상으로 공부를 해 봅니다. (영상을 공부한 내용 이므로 스토리 전개과정은 생략 하겠습니다.)
Introduce, Examiner (시험관)
Hellow, welcome to this pratice exam conducted by British American Resource Center.
This is Maruf and I'm going to be your pratice examiner.
This exam questions are designed to simulate the IELTS Speaking Test.
At the begining of the IELTS test, You'll be required to provide to your passport or any ID.
But as this is just a pratice exam, you don't need to provide any ID.
Now in the first part of the test, I'm going to ask you some questions about yourself and your leisure activities.
(leisure 명:여가, 형: 한가한)
So the first question is, Can you tell me your full name?

My full name is Salsabil Haque. (이름은 영상 자막에서 참고 했음...)
However, I prefer people calling me Salsabil.

And where are you from?
Examinee (수험자)
I'm from Cumila, Bangladesh.
However, I was born and brought up here in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
그러나 나는 방글라데시의 이곳 Dhaka에서 태어나고 자랐습니다.
My ancestors are from Cumilla. (ancestor 명: 조상, 선조)

Okay. Do you enjoy spending time outdoors?
Examinee (수험자)
Well, yes I definitely like spending time outdoors because it gives me a chance to connect with nature, It also refreshes my mind.

What outdoor activities you like to do?
Examinee (수험자)
I like doing several outdoor activies for instance I like going for a simple walk.
Or I would love going for cycling which gives me chance to resrefresh my mind. And it also a good physical exercise.

Have you ever been on a camping trip?
Examinee (수험자)
Yes, I went to a camping trip, It was back in 2019.
When I went to a camping trip with my friends, It was an amazing experience.
Examiner (시험관)
Would you be willing to try camping?
Examinee (수험자)
Yes, I would be willing to try camping again since I already went once.
It was an amazing experience. So I would like to experience it again.

오늘은 interview에 대한 영상으로 공부를 했습니다. 쉬운 표현들 이기 때문에 연습해서 입에서 술술 나올 때까지 연습 해야 겠네요. Part 2는 추가로 공부해서 작성 해 보겠습니다. ^^
